Dr. Gnaim is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School at Houston where he graduated with Honors
and is a member of the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his Internship and Residency in
Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He then returned to the
University of Texas Medical Center in Houston for his Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology
Fellowships during which he received multiple awards, including the prestigious “Fellow of the Year Award.”
He also served as Chief Cardiology Fellow during his Fellowship.
Dr. Gnaim is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine. He specializes in coronary and
peripheral vascular interventions. Dr. Gnaim has several publications and has served as a reviewer for the American
Journal of Cardiology. His most recent publication is titled, “Drug eluting stents for infrapopliteal lesions in
patients with critical limb ischemia” which has helped to redefine how to treat patients with severe lower
extremity arterial disease.
