Graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Dr. Wong first came to the U.S. to pursue further training in Internal Medicine at the New York Infirmary Beekman Downtown Hospital.

He then spent six years at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston where he completed his Internal Medicine residency, Cardiology fellowships (in both Electrophysiology & Interventional Cardiology), and served as Clinical Assistant Professor and Instructor of Medicine.

Dr. Wong is American Board-Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Medicine and Internal Medicine.
In addition, he holds specialist qualifications worldwide including MRCP(UK), FRCPC(Canada) and HKFAM(HK).

He has published and presented before world-renown cardiology groups, including the International Conference of Nuclear Cardiology and the Annual Scientific Session of the American College of Cardiology.
